Are these industrial or artisanal products?
Everything is 100% Made in France , handcrafted in my workshop in Brittany. We specialize in traditional Japanese masks (inspired by Oni , Hannya, and Kitsune demons). Each piece is a work of art: high-definition 3D printing, hand-finished post-processing, and artistic painting for a unique Japanese wall decoration or a private collection.
Are the masks fragile? No, I use PLA+ or PETG , a bioplastic that is much stronger than ceramic or plaster. It doesn't break at the slightest impact. However, these are hand-painted works of art: handle them with care to preserve the paint and varnish.
Can I wear the masks (Cosplay / Airsoft)? It depends on the model!
For Cosplay: Our half-masks (Mempo) and samurai masks are ergonomically designed. They are perfect for a costume, a photoshoot, a techwear look, or a music video.
For Decor: Large statuettes and some heavy masks are intended exclusively for interior decoration (Japandi or Industrial style).
Note: Always check the product description to see if the mask is "wearable".
Do you offer custom orders? I accept a very limited number of custom orders per month. If you would like a specific color (e.g., a gold and black Oni) that is not currently in the shop, please contact me on Instagram @dai.yokai before ordering. Please note: Custom items (colors not listed in the catalog) are neither returnable nor exchangeable.
What are the manufacturing lead times? As a craftsman , I do not stock finished products in bulk.
Handmade production: Allow 7 to 14 working days for the creation of your mask (printing, drying, painting).
Delivery: Fast and secure shipping within 48-72 hours throughout France and Europe. You will receive a unique item, not a standard plastic toy.
Do you ship internationally? Yes, the Dai Yokai workshop ships its creations all over the world ( France, Europe, World ).
Shipping costs are calculated automatically in your shopping cart based on your address.
What happens if the mask arrives broken? It's extremely rare because my packaging is ultra-reinforced ("armored packages"). But if a carrier damages your package:
Take photos of the cardboard box and the mask immediately .
Send them to me within 48 hours.
I will send you a new part or give you a full refund. You take no risk.
Can I change my mind and return my mask? Yes. In accordance with the law, you have 14 days after receipt to return a "Standard" item in its original condition for a refund.
Exception: The right of withdrawal does not apply to Personalized Orders (models made to measure for you).
How do I hang my mask on the wall? Most masks come with a hanging system (cord). A simple nail in the wall is all you need, as the material is lightweight. It's ideal for creating a Japanese atmosphere in your living room or office.
How do I clean my mask? Simply use a soft brush or a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. Never use excessive water or harsh chemicals that could damage the protective coating.
