The perfect illusion of an ancient relic.
This Hannya mask is distinguished by its incredible "wood" texture. Far from the smooth look of modern plastic, this piece has been crafted to mimic the grain and imperfections of a traditional wood carving (Kibori). The combination of deep red and gold details on this textured surface gives the impression that the mask has come straight from a forgotten temple or Shinto shrine.
Why is this finish special?
Stunning "Faux Wood" Effect: Although 3D printed (robust PETG), the texturing and painting work is incredibly realistic. You'd swear you could see the sculptor's chisel in the mask's fibers.
Noble Contrast: The Blood Red paint clings to the grooves of the "wood," creating natural shadows. The teeth, eyes, and horns are highlighted with gold leaf (rich gold paint) for a sacred appearance.
French craftsmanship 🇫🇷: Each piece is hand-painted in the Daiyokai workshop. Varnish is applied to protect the paint while preserving the satin finish characteristic of aged wood.
Choice of Variants:
Red & Gold (Red Wood): The traditional red lacquered wood look.
Blue & Gold (Blue Wood): A mystical version, like wood dyed with indigo.
Black & Gold (Ebony Wood): Imitation of dark ebony wood, very classy.
Raw Model (DIY): The unpainted version, ideal if you want to practice making your own material effects.
