The Tengu is a complex figure in Japanese folklore, both feared and revered. While the red-faced, long-nosed version is the most well-known, traditional masks come in a variety of colors, each imbued with a different spiritual energy. This "Tradition" collection reinterprets the myth with deep, lacquered finishes reminiscent of Shinto temples.
What color for your interior?
🔴 Red (Aka-Tengu): The classic. It embodies physical strength, protection against evil, and authority. It's the ideal choice for a living room or entryway.
⚫ Black (Kuro-Tengu): Mystery. It symbolizes divine wisdom and the world of shadows. Perfect for a modern, understated, and elegant decor ("All Black").
🔵 Blue (Ao-Tengu): The elements. Associated with the sky and speed, this is an aerial Tengu, master of the winds. A touch of soothing, cool color.
⚪ White (Shiro-Tengu): The pure spirit. Often represents an elderly, wise, or spectral Tengu. It brings a "Zen" and mystical touch.
French Expertise 🇫🇷: Each mask is 3D printed (high-strength PETG) in our workshop, then undergoes rigorous post-processing. The paint is applied to achieve the "lacquered/ceramic" finish typical of traditional masks, with hand-painted details (eyes, teeth).
