FAQ - Japanese Masks, Orders and Shipping

Useful answers before ordering a handmade Japanese mask, a figure, a display accessory or a custom color.

Creations and materials

Are Dai Yokai pieces handmade?

Yes. The base is printed, then each mask or figure is sanded, primed, painted, varnished and packed by hand in my workshop in Brittany.

What material do you use?

Most masks, half-masks and figures are made from PETG, chosen for its light weight and resistance. Resin is used only for small pieces when the level of detail makes sense.

Can the masks be worn?

Some models are made to be worn carefully for cosplay, conventions or photos. Others work better as wall pieces or shelf display. The product page gives the practical use for each model.

Do you make several sizes?

Not for now. Masks are sold in one size. Depending on the model, they are meant for display, light cosplay or occasional wear, with straps and foam if you want to wear them.

Orders and custom requests

How long does production take?

Most pieces are made to order. Production time depends on the model, finish and current workshop queue. The product page gives the best estimate before checkout.

Can I ask for a custom color?

Yes, when it is realistic for the workshop. Contact me before ordering with the product link, the color or finish you want and a clear visual reference.

Is it suitable for a tattoo studio or shop?

Yes. Masks and figures can work as wall display, counter pieces, booth decor or studio atmosphere. For a professional request, use the contact page with the context.

Shipping and tracking

Where do orders ship from?

Orders ship from Brittany, France. The pieces are packed with reinforced protection, especially masks with horns, teeth or fragile reliefs.

How can I track an order?

When the parcel ships, tracking information is sent by email. If you contact me about an order, include your order number.

What if a piece arrives damaged?

Keep the parcel and packaging, take photos of the box and the piece, then contact me quickly so I can check the best solution.
