Japanese masks for Halloween

A Japanese mask gives a Halloween costume a strong silhouette beyond standard zombies and clowns. I model, print in PETG, sand and paint every piece by hand in my workshop in Brittany. This selection brings together articulated Kuchisake-onna and Geisha Horror masks, Yuki-onna, Oni, Hannya, Kitsune and wearable Mempo half masks.

How to choose your mask

Choose by effect first. Kuchisake-onna and Geisha Horror deliver the most direct horror. Oni reads clearly from a distance. Hannya feels more tragic, while black Kitsune and Yuki-onna create tension without gore.

For an entire evening, start with articulated masks, Mempo half masks and Kitsune. Always check visibility, breathing, dimensions and fastening on the product page.

I work alone in my workshop in Brittany. Each mask starts with a 3D-printed PETG base, then I handle the sanding, primer, paint, varnish and finishing by hand.

Frequently asked questions

How early should I order for Halloween?

Order by 21 October. Halloween selection orders are prioritised, with a target of 1 to 2 weeks before dispatch.

Can these masks be worn all evening?

It depends on the model. Check visibility, breathing, dimensions and fastening on the product page, and take regular breaks. These are not protective equipment.

Can I display the mask after Halloween?

Yes. Most designs also work as display pieces. Keep them away from humidity, direct heat and prolonged full sun.
