The Hannya tells the story of transformation, a woman consumed by jealousy until she crosses the threshold into the demonic. Berserk addresses the same theme differently: Guts bears the Mark of Sacrifice, condemned to be hunted by the forces of darkness until his death. Not a choice. A sentence.

This red version is the most striking in the Berserk collection. The Aka red covers everything, deep, brilliant, uncompromising. The Mark of Sacrifice is engraved in the center of the forehead, gilded like the horns and teeth. Against this red background, the symbol doesn't hide, it proclaims. This is the version for those who know Berserk and want it seen.

What is the difference with the Hannya Berserk Blue Cracked?
Same model, same Mark of Sacrifice engraved on the forehead. Red is the most immediate and aggressive version, where cracked blue is cold and mineral, red is raw and direct.

Do you need to be familiar with Berserk to appreciate this mask?
No. It functions like a classic red Hannya for those unfamiliar with the manga. For fans, the Mark of Sacrifice on the forehead completely changes the interpretation of the play.
