About this piece
The Geisha Horror mask plays on the contrast between cold beauty and a face that flips. The front stays elegant and decorated, then the moving jaw opens onto something darker. The face is painted with patterns and make-up, all worked by hand.
Choosing a finish
Four hand-painted finishes: cracked white with red eyes, cracked white with black eyes, black and red, cracked black with red eyes. Each finish is built up in several coats of acrylic, then varnished. Cracked effects, shadows and contrast vary slightly from one piece to the next, which is normal on hand-painted work.
Raw version to paint, 60 €
The raw version is the PETG print straight off the machine: unsanded, unprimed, unpainted. It's for people who want to finish and paint the mask themselves. You get the piece and the moving jaw, without the finishing work. It's not the same product as a painted mask, which is why it's 60 € instead of 120 €.

How it's made
For the painted versions, the base is 3D-printed in PETG, then reworked by hand. I sand, prime, paint and varnish every mask in my workshop. The articulated jaw takes more prep than a fixed mask.
Wear it or display it
Use it for cosplay, photo work or wall display. The moving jaw gives it more presence than a fixed mask, especially on a wall or stand. That flip, calm face then open mouth, is the whole point of the piece.
