The Articulated Geisha Horror Mask combines an ornate Geisha-inspired face with a separate moving lower jaw. The contrast creates a staged horror expression for photography, careful costume styling and indoor display. This is a contemporary Dai Yokai creation, not a historical Geisha object or traditional Japanese mask.
Choose it if you want a mask with more character and movement than a standard Geisha-inspired face. It works best when the ornate surface and jaw construction can be seen clearly.
Visual style
The contrast between beauty codes and horror expression is the main point. Painted details, mouth shape and articulation make the mask feel less static in photos.
This is a Dai Yokai horror creation inspired by Japanese visual culture and yokai themes. It is not a historical Geisha object and should not be presented as a traditional mask.
Where to place this piece
Use it on a wall, mannequin head, shelf or photo setup where the jaw and face details are visible. It works well near yurei, Kuchisake or dark folklore pieces.

Making process
Each piece is made to order in my Dai Yokai workshop in Brittany, France. The base is 3D printed in PETG, then cleaned, sanded, primed, painted by hand with acrylic layers and finished with varnish.
The aim is to keep a visible handmade surface: shadows in the relief, small variations in the painted details and a finish that does not look like flat factory plastic.

It is for horror collectors, cosplayers, tattoo artists and people who want a Japanese-inspired mask with a stronger staged presence.
The lower jaw is a separate articulated section designed for visual movement. Its response depends on fit and handling, so do not assume it will automatically mirror every wearer’s mouth. Use the joint gently. This is a decorative and costume piece, not protective equipment or a mask for rough, prolonged wear.

Care and placement
Keep the piece indoors, away from long direct sun exposure and damp rooms. Dust it with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak it or use aggressive cleaning products on the painted finish.
