Handmade Hannya Masks: Jealous Demons from Japanese Folklore
Hannya (般若) often gets confused with Oni, but the two are distinct figures. The Oni is the ogre-demon. The Hannya is a woman transformed by jealousy, a female face twisted by pain. It's also one of my most requested pieces by tattoo clients. Every mask is made in my Brittany workshop: PETG 3D print, hand-sanded, acrylic-painted, varnished. Aka (red), Ao (blue), cracked Berserk variants, and Mempo half-masks. From €50. Worldwide shipping via Etsy and daiyokai.com.
