Suffering leaves its mark. Not only internally, on the skin, on the face, in every hollow that pain has carved over time. This Hannya doesn't simply express it. It carries it inscribed on its surface, in every sculpted relief, in every shadow that the light reveals differently depending on the angle.


Red Kezurata: Rage Inscribed in Matter


In Noh theater, the color red (Aka) signifies total transformation. The woman has vanished, consumed by jealousy and betrayal. It is no longer an emotion. It is a permanent state.
The Kezurata amplifies this interpretation. Where classical Hannya expresses rage through form alone, the Kezurata also inscribes it in matter.


Each hollow is a scar. Each relief is a tension that the skin can no longer contain.

Handmade in Brittany


Red on texture is a balancing act in my workshop. Too opaque and the recesses disappear, the texture is lost. Too diluted and the reliefs lack presence. I layer the pieces gradually so that the red is never flat, so that it breathes and changes with the light.

3D printed in PETG, Kezurata texture integrated into the model
Selective sanding, the reliefs are preserved
Primer applied without flattening the texture
Red acrylic paint applied layer by layer
Protective matte or satin varnish
