Ce sont deux modèles différents. Le Renard de Fushimi est le nouveau modèle Moderne (même base que le Bordeaux et le Blanc Moderne), avec des tracés or plus prononcés et une finition vernis brillant. Le Renard des Ombres est un modèle plus ancien avec un style différent.

Le masque Kitsune noir est-il portable en cosplay ?

The Night Guardian of Fushimi.

At Fushimi Inari-taisha, foxes keep watch day and night. This one is the Genko, the black fox. In Japanese folklore, it represents the dark side of the Kitsune: earthly power, mystery, protection through shadow.

The same design as the Purple Fox (burgundy) and the Inari Fox (white), but in black. Three coats of black base, gold outlines with a fine brush, bright red accents on the ears, around the eyes, and on the lips. Two coats of glossy varnish for the final lacquered finish.

What is the difference with the Black Kitsune: The Shadow Fox?

These are two different models. The Fushimi Fox is the new Modern model (same base as the Bordeaux and White), with more pronounced gold lines and a glossy varnish finish. The Shadow Fox is an earlier model with a different style.

Why Fushimi?

Fushimi Inari-taisha in Kyoto is the largest shrine dedicated to the god Inari. Thousands of red torii gates and fox statues guard the path. The black evokes the Genko, the black fox of folklore, the nocturnal guardian of shrines.

Is the black exactly as it appears in the photos?

The photos were taken in natural light in the workshop. The actual product is very close to the original. As each mask is hand-painted, slight variations make each piece unique.
