Description
The Neko Hannya Demon Cat Mask combines a Hannya-inspired face with sculpted cat ears and feline lines. It is a contemporary Dai Yokai hybrid design, not a historical Noh mask or a character taken directly from one folklore story.
Choose it if you want the horns, fangs and tension of Hannya imagery with a clear cat silhouette. Select the red or blue finish according to the display it will join, and compare it with the separate Nekomata design if you prefer a cat-yokai piece without the Hannya fusion.
Visual style
The face combines feline ears and nose lines with horns, fangs and a tense brow. Hand-painted shadows and highlighted details keep the hybrid sculpt readable from across a room in either finish.
Japanese folklore includes cat figures such as Nekomata and Bakeneko, but Neko Hannya is a Dai Yokai design name. This product is a contemporary decorative hybrid, not a traditional ritual mask or a direct representation of one named yokai.
Where to place this piece
Hang it near other yokai masks, use it in a tattoo studio corner or place it where the cat silhouette can be understood quickly.
For the broader product family, see the Hannya masks. Compare it with the Nekomata Demon Cat Mask if you want a cat-yokai design without the Hannya fusion. For background, read the Neko Hannya guide.
Making process
Each piece is made to order in my Dai Yokai workshop in Brittany, France. The base is 3D printed in PETG, then cleaned, sanded, primed, painted by hand with acrylic layers and finished with varnish.
The aim is to keep a visible handmade surface: shadows in the relief, small variations in the painted details and a finish that does not look like flat factory plastic.
Who it is for
It is for Japanese-mask collectors, cat-yokai fans, tattoo artists and buyers who want a Hannya-inspired piece with an original feline silhouette.
The mask is intended primarily for indoor display and photography. Any occasional wear requires a suitable fixing setup and a fit check; it is not protective equipment or intended for rough, prolonged wear.
Before ordering
Choose the red or blue finish shown on the product page. The mask measures approximately 23 cm wide × 24 cm high × 11 cm deep and weighs around 0.2 kg. It is made for display, not cosplay or prolonged wear. The optional €15 stand is included only when selected.
Shipping is tracked from France. As the piece is made to order, the usual making time is around 14 working days before dispatch.
Care and placement
Keep the piece indoors, away from long direct sun exposure and damp rooms. Dust it with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak it or use aggressive cleaning products on the painted finish.

Display, comparison and care
This mask is made for indoor decoration, collections, photography or a tattoo studio. It is too small for cosplay and is not intended to be worn for prolonged periods. It can be displayed on the optional presentation stand, sold separately.
The full format covers more of the face than the Neko Hannya half mask. For a cat-yokai silhouette without Hannya features, compare it with the Nekomata mask. You can also browse the Dai Yokai Hannya masks and read the Neko Hannya guide for more background on the visual references behind this creation.
Keep the mask indoors, away from direct sunlight, humidity and heat sources. Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, without abrasive products. Each piece is made to order, with a usual stated lead time of around 14 working days before tracked dispatch from France.
