Description
The Nekomata Japanese Demon Cat Mask is made for people who like the animal side of yokai. It keeps the cat reference clear while pushing the face toward something older, stranger and less domestic.

Making process
Each piece is made to order in my Dai Yokai workshop in Brittany, France. The base is 3D printed in PETG, then cleaned, sanded, primed, painted by hand with acrylic layers and finished with varnish.
The aim is to keep a visible handmade surface: shadows in the relief, small variations in the painted details and a finish that does not look like flat factory plastic.
