Description

The Kuchisake Tentacles Collab Mask is not a neutral Japanese mask. It keeps the slit-mouth tension of Kuchisake-onna and adds organic tentacle shapes for a stranger, more creature-like direction.

Choose it if you want a horror piece that does not look like a standard Hannya, Oni or ghost mask. It is made for people who want a more experimental face in the collection.

Visual style

The mouth and tentacles create the main movement. Hand-painted shadows are used to separate the forms so the piece does not become a single dark mass on the wall.

The mask starts from Japanese urban legend imagery, then moves into a collab horror direction. It is a modern decorative art mask, not a traditional or ritual object.

Making process

Each piece is made to order in my Dai Yokai workshop in Brittany, France. The base is 3D printed in PETG, then cleaned, sanded, primed, painted by hand with acrylic layers and finished with varnish.

The aim is to keep a visible handmade surface: shadows in the relief, small variations in the painted details and a finish that does not look like flat factory plastic.

Who it is for

It is for horror collectors, tattoo artists, cosplayers and people who prefer unusual Dai Yokai pieces over classic folklore faces.

It can be used for photos with careful handling. Because of the sculpted details, it is better as display and styling than rough daily wear.

Care and placement

Keep the piece indoors, away from long direct sun exposure and damp rooms. Dust it with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak it or use aggressive cleaning products on the painted finish.
