The Ryū Japanese Dragon Wall Mask is a display-first piece built around the Japanese dragon figure. Its sculpted face, horns and relief are made to create a strong indoor wall presence rather than act as a small background object.
The mask fits collectors, tattoo studios, manga convention booths and interiors where a Japanese folklore centerpiece makes sense.
Folklore and visual direction
Japanese dragon imagery is often connected with water and rain, while individual stories and deities carry different meanings. This contemporary Dai Yokai piece focuses on the dragon face, horns and painted relief without claiming to be a ceremonial or historical mask.
The face is designed to catch light across the relief. The finish options change the mood, from stone-like display to stronger color versions.
Read the Japanese dragon Ryū guide, compare the handmade Japanese mask collection, or add a separate mask display stand for shelf presentation.

Making and finish
Each piece is made to order in my Dai Yokai workshop in Brittany. The base is made in PETG, then prepared, sanded and primed in the Dai Yokai workshop. Acrylic colours, painted shadows and varnish are applied by hand. The completed mask weighs about 200 g according to the current WooCommerce data for indoor display.
Because the dragon has many raised details, the hand-painted shadows matter. Small variations in tones, horns and varnish can appear between two pieces.
Wear, display and limits
This piece is made primarily for indoor wall display, decor and photography. The current product data does not confirm its fit, internal attachment or field of vision, so contact Dai Yokai before ordering if comfortable event wear is essential.
Small differences can appear from one piece to another because the sanding, painted shadows and final finish are done by hand. That is normal for this kind of small workshop production.
Who this piece is for
This piece is for collectors, tattoo artists, convention displays and people who want a Japanese folklore object with a visible handmade surface. It is not the right choice if you need a factory-perfect prop with identical paint on every copy.
The important part is the presence of the face or object: a piece that can be understood quickly by a visitor, photographed easily and still show close-up details when someone comes nearer.
Before ordering
Choose Stone effect, Red, Blue or Green, then select Black or Gold horns before adding the mask to the cart. Every combination costs €130. The optional €15 display stand is included only when its checkbox is selected.
Shipping is tracked from France. As each piece is made to order, the usual making time is around 14 working days before dispatch.
Care and placement
Keep the piece indoors, away from long direct sun exposure and damp rooms. Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak it or use aggressive cleaning products on the painted finish.
