Description

The Salaryman Oni Mask is an original Dai Yokai creation rather than a direct copy of a traditional mask. It takes the idea of the demon and pulls it into a modern office mood: tired face, pressure, suit-world anger and a bit of dark humour.

Choose it if you want an Oni that does not feel like every classic red demon mask. It is more character-driven and works well for a studio, office wall, convention booth or collector shelf.

Visual style

The expression is built to be readable before the details are studied. It should feel human enough to be uncomfortable and demon enough to belong in the Dai Yokai universe.

Oni are Japanese demons, but this version is a contemporary interpretation. It is not a ritual mask, not an antique and not a claim about office culture in Japan.

Making process

Each piece is made to order in my Dai Yokai workshop in Brittany, France. The base is 3D printed in PETG, then cleaned, sanded, primed, painted by hand with acrylic layers and finished with varnish.

The aim is to keep a visible handmade surface: shadows in the relief, small variations in the painted details and a finish that does not look like flat factory plastic.

Who it is for

It is for collectors who like original characters, tattoo artists, office survivors with dark humour and people who want a demon mask with a story.

It is mainly for wall display and photos. Wear is possible only if the fixing and fit suit you, and comfort depends on the setup.

Care and placement
