Description
This Traditional Tengu Mask uses the long human-like nose, rounded cheeks, stern brow and open mouth associated with the Daitengu form. The product is available in red, white or blue, each with black shading, gold-toned eyes and gold-toned teeth.
Choose it if you want the same rounded full-face sculpt in one of three clearly shown colours. Each option costs €120 and is made to order, so small differences in painted shadows and surface finish are normal.
Visual style
The long nose gives the mask its profile, while the brow and painted shadows keep the face tense. The red finish brings it close to classic Tengu imagery without pretending to be an antique festival mask.
Tengu are supernatural figures associated with mountains in Japanese folklore. The long-nosed human-like form is commonly identified as a Daitengu. This Dai Yokai piece is a contemporary decorative interpretation, not an antique, ritual object or official traditional mask.
Where to place this piece
Display it indoors on a stable shelf, suitable stand or in a display case where the long nose remains visible. Wall mounting requires a separate suitable fixing method that is not currently specified.
Browse the Tengu mask collection. Compare this rounded three-colour sculpt with the fanged Tengu Mountain Spirit Mask or the red-and-black Large-Format Tengu Mask. For cultural background, read the Tengu mask guide.
Making process
Each piece is made to order in my Dai Yokai workshop in Brittany, France. The base is 3D printed in PETG, then cleaned, sanded, primed, painted by hand with acrylic layers and finished with varnish.
The aim is to keep a visible handmade surface: shadows in the relief, small variations in the painted details and a finish that does not look like flat factory plastic.
Who it is for
It is for collectors, photographers, tattoo artists and buyers who want a recognisable long-nosed Tengu mask with a hand-painted finish.
The gallery does not show the mask being worn, and the listing does not specify an included strap or fixing system. Any occasional wear requires a suitable separate setup and fit check; it is not protective equipment.
Before ordering
Choose red, white or blue before adding the mask to the cart. Each colour costs €120. Current product data lists a weight of 0.2 kg; exact dimensions are not shown. The optional display stand adds €15 only when selected.
Shipping is tracked from France. As the piece is made to order, the usual making time is around 14 working days before dispatch.
Care and placement
Keep the piece indoors, away from long direct sun exposure and damp rooms. Dust it with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak it or use aggressive cleaning products on the painted finish.
