Description

This Traditional Tengu Mask keeps the direct visual code of the long-nosed mountain spirit. The red face, long nose and hard expression make it easy to identify, even for someone who only knows the broad shape of Japanese masks.

Visual style

Making process

Each piece is made to order in my Dai Yokai workshop in Brittany, France. The base is 3D printed in PETG, then cleaned, sanded, primed, painted by hand with acrylic layers and finished with varnish.

The aim is to keep a visible handmade surface: shadows in the relief, small variations in the painted details and a finish that does not look like flat factory plastic.

It is for collectors, tattoo artists, cosplayers and people who want a recognizable Japanese Tengu mask with a handmade finish.

It can be worn for short photos if the fixing suits you, but the long nose makes it less practical for crowded or long events.
